This is my live final project draft, Could not figure out how to make the timingsright! Really enjoyed working on this final project!
It took a little longer getting acclimated to Live then I thought, But I was able to put something together. I really liked the idea of samples and adding my stuff over a song, giving it a new feel. In the second section I layered samples of the same song to give it a new, fuller sound. Final section, I came back to what I had in the beginning, but I sped up. I felt with everything going on, it kept it interesting. With a little more time, I think this song could have been even better. Compared to the draft, I added some claps and other synths and vocals. The readings helped me understand Live better and get adjusted from Logic. It also taught me the basic functions and where to find things as well. All requirements have been met. Enjoy!
Im going for something different on this song! Not a traditional song on purpose! This a draft so nothing is perfect yet. Looking to add other things over the course of time! Kinda like how this is going, most likely going to shorten it and add more to the song, any suggestions will be appreciated Layered samples on each other to give it a fuller sound! The readings helped me understand the features of live. I also understand the benefits of live compared to logic!
Overall I really enjoyed making this project, I enjoyed using the apple loops, but also inputting my own bass, claps, and fades to enhance the song! The reading has helped me to understand the importance of EQ,Automations, and all the other tools. They can really change the feel of the song and take out unwanted noises. I also learned the importance of doubling, instead of having one track of something, if you double it, you will get a fuller sound which can lead to a better overall sound for the song. All requirements have been met!

I am really enjoying this piece much more than my first one. This is because the readings have helped me understand Logic options and functions. I realized there is an on going drum piece at the end of the song and that will not be in the final product! It will need vocals but I am unsure where to put the vocals! Other than that I feel confident in this piece and think it could be great!
As seen in the screenshots, I have met the requirements of at least 4 audio tracks and instrument loops. I have 2 distinct sections in the song! I have a vocal track of me saying something in the song twice and the sections of the song are labeled. When starting this project, I had a completely different sound then what I have now! I created about 1 and half different songs, before I came to my final product. I listened to songs that I like and found what interested me in them. I really like when songs have clips of old speeches or anything that would be considered old in them. With that being said, I had to incorporate some of that into my song. The readings really helped me keep my song from sound generic. It allowed me to understand some of the settings and features I could add to my instrument loops to make them sound better! Even allowed me to enhance my audio tracks to make it more dramatic!
This is my loop project draft, It’s still a draft and there is much more I can work on and fix. I believe that it has a lot of potential due to the intro of the song. The readings have helped me with this loop project by allowing me to think of a way to introduce the song. it also the the logic lessons have taught me how to mix and understand logic. Also, the readings have taught me that even simple bits ad pieces may not sound good by themselves, but together, they can make make a great song!
