Here is my logic Draft. Forgot to post it, but i need to put lyrics and automation and finish it but i’m happy with where its heading.
It was really great experience with Live. I concerned with the new program that I have to use for this assignment, but I’m happy with the result from it. All the tutorial I looked up was helped me a lot, but the most help was from the lessons from Professor Snyder.
I was enjoyed with play with the softstep. Setting up this equipment was easy too, so I loved it. I used it while I play the clarinet, I needed to practice since I was not the multitasking person but it was so simple because I used only one button among ten.
I used two effects for the clarinet. To change the effects, I set up the key. For the first effect, I set it up as V and another one as B.
Overall this assignment was really hard and challenging, but I enjoyed with this assignment and had fun with it.
For my Ableton Project I would like to incorporate a Novation Launchpad as well as a vocoder or MIDI keyboard. I want to create a song and then put the stems into session view perhaps with a backing track for the samples and such then trigger them with the launchpad while I either sing with the vocoder with the prewritten MIDI information.
I think I am going to do a live loop project. I am not sure what style of music I am going doing yet. I hope to use either a pre-made drum beat or some kind live beat as a backing track for the song.
After a lot of thought, I’ve decided to go with logic. I just like the way I can see the song move. I did not enjoy having to re-record the song each time I added an element. It was kind of a pain. As to what direction I want the song to go to… But I guess I had to add more lyrics. Eww. So I am gonna search for inspiration.
